Build Your Own Guitar Pedal

« back to classes page
For the musician with an interest in electronics, building your own custom-designed overdrive pedal will be incredibly fun and rewarding. You’ll experience pride in playing using something you built yourself, especially when it gets you closer to the elusive tone of the
superstars and legends. Similar to our Soldering for Electronics Workshop, this workshop involves a lot of soldering and a bit more use of hand tools, so the same recommendations apply. The kit to build the pedal is included in the cost and is yours to keep at the end!

The MCCC Makerspace is a resource and gathering place where the community can come together to share skills and equipment while imagining, exploring, creating and designing with people of shared and diverse interests. You’ll have access to the information, tools, software and space you need to learn, invent, make and repair. We can help you bring your ideas from concept to reality. We have curated the following workshops you can attend this semester and create in our Makerspace.
