Jewelry Techniques Open Studio

This 8-week open studio course provides returning jewelry students the opportunity to further develop their personal projects in a supportive, creative environment.  Designed for students who have completed Jewelry I, this studio-based course emphasizes independent
exploration while maintaining access to expert guidance and technical assistance. You will have full use of the jewelry and metals studio, including torches, soldering stations and polishing equipment. Students may choose to continue projects begun in previous classes or embark on new creative directions. 

The open studio format encourages experimentation and self-directed learning while fostering a collegial atmosphere of shared ideas and problem-solving. Through instructor mentorship and peer collaboration, students will strengthen their technical proficiency, design sensibility and studio safety practices. Bring your materials, sketchbook and creative curiosity—this is your time to make, explore and grow as a jewelry artist. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Jewelry I or equivalent experience with instructor approval.
