Take the mystery out of firearms and develop lifelong safety skills in this comprehensive, safety-first camp. Led by NRA-certified instructor Wayne Blank, this course emphasizes responsible gun handling while teaching fundamental marksmanship techniques.  Camp focuses on NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, shooting fundamentals and range rules and etiquette.  Completion of all four classroom sessions is required to qualify for range participation and earn a safety certificate. Safety is our top priority—this course provides a structured and educational introduction to responsible firearm handling.  Special Notice: Campers will meet at a local firing range on the final day. Transportation is NOT provided by MCCC.  Cost includes use of a rifle, ear/eye protection, and ammunition at the range.
