The Emergency Medical Services Instructor Coordinator course is designed to train entry-level EMS educators in the techniques to be an effective instructor. After successful completion of the EMS Instructor Coordinator certificate course, students are eligible to take the State of Michigan Instructor Coordinator exam and obtain an EMS Instructor Coordinator license. EMS Instructor Coordinators provide both initial education and continuing education in the EMS field. Students learn administrative requirements, course creation skills, instruction techniques and the use of various evaluation methods.
