Understanding Soils and Nutrients

This class is designed to help people better understand how to care for their lawn, garden, or even their property up north.  In this class, we’ll explore the fundamentals of soil — including soil chemistry, biology, and the nutrients essential for healthy plant growth. The material is based on a Master Gardener Soil Class taught by the instructor.  Weather permitting, we’ll head outside to demonstrate how to collect a proper soil sample and prepare it for mailing.
